1) What have you learned this week?
This week I have learned that there are many components that have to go together in order to build a business. Going through all of the necessary steps will take us well into next year and fundraising will have to be successful for this to happen. Using what I have learned so far this week I have created new ideas on how to continue from now.
2) What have you accomplished so far?
So far I have gone to the city health department to go over the health requirements concerning starting a business. This meeting covered everything from water quality and food concerns and opened my eyes to what we need to consider when making coffee.
3) What has gone wrong? What challenges have you faced?
So far the biggest challenge we face is meeting all the health requirements without taking loans to cover the cost of licenses and standard equipment.
4) What is your next step of action?
Our next step of action is to work on fundraising and get a basic business plann ready.
